House Hunting

Hello.
We are house hunting.
We just put an offer on a house.
Here are a few specs.
3 bedrooms - 1.5 baths - hardwood floors under the carpet - 2 car garage - 1500+ square footage upstairs - "unfinished" basement - .469 acres
When looking at the back patio I've marked a crack in the retaining wall. Dad, let me know what you think.....since you're the only one contributing to this blog.

Does anyone know how to set up hyperlinks using blogger? I obviously don't know how to do it, that's why you have URLs listed for my piece on NPR.

Blogs

I'm new to Blogs....recently I've started reading a few blogs of people I know. Each blog has it's own format. I'm not sure which format I'm going to use..... one i've seen doesn't use any caps or much punctuation. i think that'd be a good format for me since i stink at all that stuff. however, i think that it's almost harder to write without caps, also what would that do to my horrible spelling/grammer/punctuation prob?

If you'd like to read a much better blog than mine go to my friend Jen's blog (www.jenslog.com). She writes about all sorts of cool things. She has a lot of great thoughts.

My question with blogs is......Pratt is crying....gotta' run.

Some pics of our trip to NYC & DC

We took a week long trip to NYC, DC and Colonial Williamsburg. We had such a great time! It was fun to see old friends in NY, and hang out in the city. We had some fantastic food and enjoyed some great conversations.
All in all, it was great! Pratt is a superstar traveler - he loves being outside, and he loved his stroller.

Homearama

Tonight Jon and I (and Pratt) attended "Homearama"
It was underwhelming. TOO much of the same thing.....lots of golden frames on golden walls.
The exteriors of the homes were gorgeous, as you can see. I just didn't like the interior decorators.
Pratt took a picture next to a Jaguar.....two of mom's favorite things - a Jag, and Pratt.
My favorite thing was dreaming of laying down in this shower. I just love to rest in the shower....and I could totally do that here.

Overall, it would be fun to live in one of these houses if you never wanted to actually see the other people you live with.
