Dear Readers, The cake was a delicious as it looks. A dense, rich vanilla with a chocolate buttercream stripe in the center. I sadly limited myself to just a medium sized piece, but I could just as easily have eaten the entire top layer. Thanks, Monica. I look forward to cake # 3.
