More Cakes

For date night, Jon and I decorated cakes.
One of them is spice cake, pumpkin pie as the filling, and cream cheese frosting.
The other is choc. cake, with peanut butter frosting, topped with Reeses.
Delish.

Your cakes look amazing....and every time I look at them I just want to eat them. Especially the pumpkin one...because pumpkin is my favorite. :)

So here's a question for the domestic goddess. I'm having a scrapbook party at my house for some friends in the ward. Any ideas for easy appetizer type foods to serve? Plus things that would be okay sitting out awhile. We are scrapbooking from 7pm until whenever we pass out from exhaustion.

Ash,
I'm thinking of a few things off the top:
(I'm kinda' in a Fall mood since the weather is cool here today) So, the first few things are kinda' fall themed:
- Mini Bran Muffins
- Apple cider
-Pumpkin Whoopie for desert - I'll give you the recipe if you'd like......it's like a combo between pumpkin pie and cake.
- Veggie tray
-Artichoke dip from Costco - to DIE for!
-"Stacy's" chips from Costco - plain pita variety.
(The dip and the chips work swimmingly together.)

I would love the pumpkin whoopie recipe. I love all things pumpkin. You can email it to me. That way I'll know what email address you prefer(hotmail or aol). :)

Artichoke dip sound delish too. I love most things artichoke as well. Not making it myself would be a major bonus too.
